Lessons from one of 2023

Hi

It’s a new year, and this 1st week has definitely been interesting.   Monday night will Jan 2 2023, will be a date I will remember for a long time. It’s was the night of the Bills vs Bengals football game. With 6 minutes left in the 1st quarter, Bills safety Damar Hamlin drop down, and had a type a cardiac arrest.  Luckily the Bills training staff  and medical professionals were there to save his life.  He ended spending days at the hospital in Cincinnati, and was recently transport make to Buffalo.

It reminds me the importance of a few thing. One that life is precious.  Unfortunately we don’t know how long we have on this wonderful world.  I hope that as Spock would say, “live long and prosper”  Damar was lucky the right people were there that night.  That is why I need to remember to make the most of each day, with the ones I love to be with.

Second is the importance of others.  This past week, has shown people are out there who care about you, just because of you.  You might have met them, but they want the best for you, and want you to succeed too.

Third is to remember to appreciate others, and what they have done for you.  Even the small thing matter.

I am writing this late Monday night Jan 9th.  I had a busy day, which I’ll explain next time.  I hope this was insightful.
